In 1999 the Civil Engineer Jannet Varon was the Construction Director of an important construction company in her native Colombia, at the time she had successfully completed the construction of several bridges and building structures more than 20 floors height. In light of her husbands professional relocation, she migrated to Tampa to pursue new challenges.

As Jannet started working in Tampa in her field she obtained her license as Florida State General Contractor and decided to establish a construction company to serve the Tampa bay Area with the special touch of an experienced woman in a field dominated by men. That's how JVA Construction Inc. came to life.
